Free. No sign-up. Works on your phone.

What it gives you

  • Estimated profit or loss for the cycle.
  • Revenue, total cost and return on cost.
  • Break-even price per kilo.
  • A cost table: fingerlings, each feed type, labor and other costs.

How to read the result

In this example 5,000 fingerlings give 1,050 kg at harvest. Selling at ₱120 per kilo brings ₱126,000 against ₱106,755 in costs, a profit of ₱19,245. The break-even price is ₱101.67 per kilo: selling below that would not cover the cycle. The prices are examples only. Type your own, because a few pesos per kilo of feed or fish changes the answer.

Questions growers ask

Is tilapia farming profitable in the Philippines?

It depends on your feed price, survival, FCR and selling price. In this example the cycle returns 18% on its costs. The calculator shows your own result in a minute.

What is the break-even price?

The selling price per kilo at which sales exactly cover the costs of the cycle. Below it you lose money; above it you profit.
